Every missing person deserves to be seen.

Black Americans, adults and children, go missing at higher rates than their share of the population and get far less media attention. Community Report shares verified information about missing Black people so more eyes are watching, and points every lead to the police agency handling the case.

How it works

1. A family or agency submits a report

With a police case number, family documentation, or an existing listing with NamUs, NCMEC or the Black and Missing Foundation.

2. A moderator verifies it

Nothing is public until then. The submitter sees "Uploaded: waiting for approval" on a private page.

3. It's shared, the right way

Official facts and photos only, with the investigating agency's number. No rumors, no accusations, no private details.

We list every missing child we can verify, from any state. Adult reports are being opened state by state, starting with Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Maryland.
